In such a mountainous area you would expect us to have some awesome mountain biking, well you'd be right, we have - and lots of it! Kimberley Nature Park is a X-Country Skiers paradise in winter but it turns into a great Mountain Bike trail system in summer. With over 2000 acres of Nature Park, we will keep you entertained for days.

The Kimberley Nature Park extends from the Nordic Centre on the ski hill all the way down onto the St Marys Lake Road. There are a group of local enthusiasts that are continually breaking trail and improving the system just for riders.

If that isn't enough, then Poser's our local bike experts lay on shuttle trips up to Bootleg Mountain on a regular basis, check in with them for details at their shop in the Platzl Downtown Kimberley and get the local knowledge you need to get the best out of your trip. If your kids are into their stunt biking and tricks, we have a great set of ramps just minutes from the Aquatic Centre. Local competitions are held here on a regular basis and are great to watch if you aren't that daring!

If it is a leisurely family ride you are looking for then why not ride 'Rails To Trails'. Kimberley - Cranbrook rail system has recently been removed and converted to a smooth paved 19Km stretch of relatively flat trail which is overlooked by the high snow-capped Rocky Mountain Range. This is accessible right from Downtown Kimberley. It is suitable for all ages even for those still using stabilizers or being pulled by mom or dad. Take a lunch and stop off to take in some of the great views.
